Service EvidenceWORK HISTORY, MADE USEFUL

Privacy

Privacy.

Service Evidence exists to publish evidence about businesses, never about their customers. This page says plainly what is collected, what is published, and what is not.

Providers' work history

A provider uploads an export of their completed-work records. The file is read in the provider's browser. Recognised customer details — names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, bank and account details — are removed before anything is saved, and the provider reviews the de-identified version first. The raw file is not uploaded and is not retained. What is saved is de-identified job context: the kind of work, the system or product, the problem, the date, the place at the precision the provider declared, and recorded amounts.

What is published

Only aggregate evidence the provider has approved: counts, shares, periods and historical price ranges over completed work, plus the provider's own declared business identity (name, official website, service area). No job row, no note and no customer is published or identifiable.

Visitors to public pages

Public evidence pages record ordinary server logs and, for automated visitors, the user agent and page requested, so that crawling can be observed. IP addresses are not stored. Where a page offers a next step (a call, a visit, the provider's website), the interaction is counted with an anonymous session identifier that is not linked to a person. No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, no sale of data.

Accounts

Providers and operators sign in with an email link. The email address is used for sign-in and for the record of who approved a publication. It is not published.

Retention and removal

A provider can take their public record down at any time and can ask for their data to be deleted. Earlier publication versions are kept as a record of what was public and when, unless deletion is requested.
